1957 Chevy Bel Air

The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air is one of the most iconic cars in classic car history. This was the only year Chevrolet made the car with this body style and fins. This iconic year is referred to by hot rodders as the "Baby Caddy" because of its robust fins.
This model year for the Bel Air is the most popular and most customized car in hot rod history. The car came available from the factory with a 235 inline 6 or a 283 small block v8. This car helped make the 350 small block as popular as it is today as it had the small blocks predecessor block. The car came in a convertible, two door, or four door option. The car is highly sought out today and a convertible at Mecum just recently sold for over $100,000.
